…..In continuation with the previous blog titled “Why should I go to office?”
Yes, work is the expression of your Gifts & Talents!
Gifts:
A Gift is something you receive for FREE! It is given to you… most of the time you never asked for it. It can even be a pleasant surprise to you. There have been many occasions in my life when some of my friends have surprised me by giving me a gift when I least expect it, so the surprise is not only with the “gift”, but with the whole “ACT of giving” it.
Similarly God has given us some GIFTS. When He created us, he wanted to GIVE us something special, something that will make us stand out in life, something that is unique to us, something that will help us move towards our destiny, something that will help us prosper in life, something that will help us minister to others, something that will help us change the world in our own way.
Think about this. Have you ever met a GENIUS or a PRODIGY in your life? Someone who can do mathematics better than anyone in class? someone who can dance so effortlessly? someone who plays music when he is just 5 years old without ANY training what so ever? someone who has the flair to speak in public without fear? someone who can fix a error in a software code within seconds effortlessly? That is what I call a GIFT. They are born with it. It has been GIVEN to them. Not by their choice, but by the choice of the one who gifted it to them. That is why I love God. He is so Good. He has given each one of us a unique Gift that will help us in our lives.
You may think, “well… good that you have some gifts… but looks like I have none!” No! you are wrong! Again and again we see untapped potential inside every human being. See the below videos from YouTube, then you know what I am talking about.
The kids in these videos have a GIFT that was given to them.
