Women’s Christian College (WCC), Chennai had organised a half-a-day retreat seminar for their non-teaching staff on 23rd June 2012. They have over 200 non-teaching staff in the college and I was asked to speak on ‘Work Ethics’ & its practical implications on our worklife.
WCC was founded in 1915. For the past 97 years, they have been serving the student community & have produced some transforming leaders for this nation. It was a great privilege for me to address the staff of this impact-creating institution.
The Principal, Dr. Ridling Margaret Waller was present throughout the session along with the Vice Principal and the Chaplain Dr. Ranjini Christopher, who had made all the arrangements. I am thankful for their effort.
I spoke about the origin of work & the reasons that we all need to go to work for & how to ensure that our working style & pattern brings success to our work life. I must mention that I received one of the best Introduction (from the Vice Principal) and the best Vote of thanks ever! It was overwhelming to see the impact that ancient biblical principles had, on the hearts of people.
It was fun handing over small gifts & prizes to people who interacted well during the session. My friend, Spurgeon accompanied me and helped me with the presentation & photography. We have posted some photos on our facebook page. You can click here to view them.
